A mother took her seven-year-old son to the park. At the park the boy climbed to the top of a 100-foot tree. When it was time to leave, the mother called to the boy to come down, so he jumped from the top of the tree and landed at his mother’s feet unharmed. There were no parachutes, wires, harnesses or slides and the boy did jump (free fall) from the top of the tree, and “yes” mother was on the ground. How was it that he didn’t get hurt?

How did they get to safety so quickly?
